The biggest waste of time if you're operating your own business is to make excuses. I see people in this line doing it all the time. They expect to given handouts and everything so they don't have to work. I see destructive behavior on forums everyday; people complaining about other people's business practices. While I'm not against naming and shaming those who deserve it, don't expand too much energy on these activities because they are plain and simply unproductive.
Creating a business is in some ways harder than working at a day job. You're the marketing manager, accountant, secretary all in one, especially when you are just starting out. Making excuses has no place in an environment like this.
If a person buys a product that teaches them how to make money but doesn't actually apply the steps, or gives up early, whose fault is it? It is the product owner's fault? Definitely not! If the product owner has taken all necessary steps to put out a quality product, then the person must apply the steps in it using his own creative input. And you do have to put in some input of your own. No two businesses are 100% alike. People interpret strategies and tactics differently, so even if you copy someone's business down to the letter, it is not going to work exactly the same. You have to put on your entrepreneurial hat if you want to succeed.
The only way you're going to make a ton of money from your home business is if you take action, throw away the excuses and get down to work.
