Unfortunately, they usually find that everyone they contact does not share the excitement of the potential they see in their newfound business. Most new distributors will want others to share in their business because they feel that it is such a good opportunity to gain substantial earnings. They believe they can make a lot of money if their prospects can see the vision and join them. They think others will benefit, but they are often thinking more of themselves than the people they are contacting.

It is a good idea for network marketers to think of others first. It is also well to consider what you can do for others before thinking about what they might do for you.

The prospects can feel that they are only being contacted now because the person wants something from them. They do not see that the distributor wants them to join because it will benefit the prospect.
People who join a network marketing opportunity should realize that this is a home based business with great potential. However, it is true that only about 2% of the people who sign up will make a substantial income from their business. Distributors will be much happier if they can think of others and enjoy the associations even if no one is interested in the business. Thinking of others without the pressure of worrying about sign ups will ultimately help all around, and success may come when you least expect it.
