Choosing an Apartment

Apartments are a unique experience. They aren't a dorm, they aren't your mom and dads place, and they aren't your own home. Hanging out in an apartment will give you new, good, strange experiences you can never see anywhere else. Some of them amazing, some of them substandard. Below are just a few of the unique apartment experiences you might encounter.

Having to move far far away from your residence. A common lifestyle that most other people don't deal with is that most times, you don’t have a certain parking spot, or if you do, only one. You may have to walk far away at times just to get to your home. The awesome news is you get a decent workout. The bad news is there is no convenience that you get the luxury of.

Having 3 close neighbors. Handling with 1 or two neighbors can be a concern, but when you have to be conscious of of several neighbors who will be directly effected by your noise levels, there is a new amount of stress at play.

Security. Almost all rental space will have on-duty security, something your house probably will not. So although there may seem to be more characters and strange people sticking around around rentals, there is also the relaxing feeling that comes with knowing a security guard is feet away.

Mixed crowd. On the standard, sects will have a “taste”, as common income streams will seduce a similar kind of people. In apartments, you get a immense diversity, as cost isn't always the biggest contributing factor. Location, age, duration in a location are all characteristics that effect who will end up living near you, and generally, your place will have a big variety of residents.

These are only a small amount of the defining characteristics apartments have. Some are great, some aren’t, depending on who you are talking to. But no matter the flavor, all of these characteristics inform and define your experience.
