The Time-Management Tactics

Time is a resource we all have the same amount of, yet some people seem to get more done in their 24 hours than other people do. Time is the one resource that can only be used, not saved, borrowed or wasted. Juggling time for home and work can be a special problem for those who work at home. Analyze what you recorded to see how it related to the business. Look at each category and separate those activities that had to be done at a specific time and those that could be done anytime. Decide which are time wasters, controllable and uncontrollable. Determine if there are things that needed to get done that were left undone and why. Think about ways to improve the effectiveness of your use of time. Keeping a daily log from time to time and analyzing it in this fashion will provide a reality check on how time is being used and Continue Reading

What You Need To Operate A Home Business

Before handing in your hard hat or clipboard and walking out the door, anyone considering opening their own business will need to do some deep personal introspection and decide if they can actually be successful working at home. If you have determined you are not cut out for working independently at home, it is nothing to be ashamed of. The internet is filled with scams you have to be wary of. The last thing you want to do is invest a great deal of time into something that will get you nowhere. It can be difficult to decipher the scams from the legitimate opportunities. So what exactly is  a legitimate home business? The first thing you want to look at when selecting a program to join is the overall sales page. Does the page look professional or like it was put together in a few minutes? Your first impression says a lot about whether or not it is a program you should consider joining. After getting past your first impression, it is time to dig a little deeper. You want to know what you are going to be doing. Far too many programs ramble about how much money you can make from the program, but leave out the part of how you Continue Reading
