8 Steps To Making MLM Sales
A lot of times people get into network market because they see it as a way to make extra money from home. Its low start up cost and the support and training from your upline and your MLM Company all look very attractive. But in order to make that money from home, you have to be able to sell. I know, the MLM Companies don’t often tell you this but it’s true.
To succeed in network marketing you have to actually sell your MLM product or service. In order to sell your products and services, you have to have a plan. Here is a step-by-step plan to making MLM sales.
Step 1 To MLM Sales – Identify your MLM product or service. Most network marketing companies have more than one product or service to offer. Choose just ONE and then become an expert in that product or service. Know everything that there is to know about it.
Step 2 To MLM Sales – Identify your target market. A common mistake that just about every network marketer is told is that everyone is your market. Just because someone may benefit from using your product does NOT mean that a person is willing to purchase your product. Once you know who actually buys your products, you want to know everything about them so that you can deliver the greatest value. You will serve your customer better if you know their specific needs, wants, and desires.
Step 3 To MLM Sales - Create a prospecting script. The purpose of having a prospecting script is to keep you focused on the task at hand which is to sort. Having a well put together prospecting script in front of you will guide you to say what you want to say, precisely and in as few words as possible. Keep in mind you have about 15 seconds to get your prospect’s attention.
Step 4 To MLM Sales - Prepare a presentation that converts prospects into MLM customers. Once you have a prospect that wants more information about your MLM product, you want to have someplace to send them to get that information. Crafting a presentation can send your prospect the right message and make them want to purchase the product from you.
Step 5 To MLM Sales - Create a closing script. Just like in prospecting, you want to have a closing script in front of you to guide you to say what you want to say. This will help you with your confidence as well.
Step 6 To MLM Sales – Practice, Practice, Practice. Just like anyone that plays sports, you have to practice your scripts. The old saying “practice makes perfect” is true. As an added bonus practice will also increase your confidence. People like to do business with those that are confident in what they do.
Step 7 To MLM Sales – Get targeted leads. Now that you are ready to get on the phone you will want to have some people to talk to. Armed with the characteristics of your target market, call a lead broker and purchase a set of leads that have those traits. You should be able to find good quality leads for about 20 cents ea.
Step 8 To MLM Sales – Get on the phone. You now have everything in place that you need to get started with your network marketing business. The rest is up to you. You have to take action.
Keep track of your statistics. You want to know what percentage of the people you talk to are going to a presentation. This let’s you know that you are talking to the right people and that your prospecting script is effective. You also want to know what percentage of the people that you send to a presentation is actually purchasing your MLM product or service. This will tell you if your presentation is on the right track and it will also let you know how good your closing skills are.
Armed with these 8 steps to MLM sales and probably about $100 worth of leads, you are now in business. It doesn’t take a lot of money to grow your home based business but it does take massive action. If you are willing to do the work, then success will be yours.
